At Kanpai Japanese Restaurant we want you to leave with memories of innovative flavours and dynamic dishes, all served by our passionate team in a modern Japanese space just opposite the beautiful white sandy beaches of Huskisson.
Our menu is created by Yoshi Tanimo which draws on traditional Japanese cuisine and is joined with a modern contemporary western style of exciting flavours.
A variety of enticing dining options are available to you, whether it’s group bookings, partying or simply looking for a great night out.
We have an awesome outdoor area with a separate grill where you can ask the chef to cook you something fresh off the grill or sip sake and eat sashimi while you admire the beautiful views that Huskisson has to offer.
Meet the locals
Yoshi is an acclaimed contemporary Japanese chef. Born and bread in Japan Yoshi has an extensive list of professional culinary achievements to his name. Most notably he was working at the 2 hatted Sydney Japanese restaurant YOSHII as well as the 1 hatted restaurant Bambini.
He has now bought his skill and arsenal of contemporary Japanese cooking to Kanpai where he and the team will create and evolve an exciting menu.
